Subject: MINOS'09 - booking now open
Dear all
Thank you all those who responded promptly and enthusiastically to Adrian's
first email on the subject. To remind you the date is 18-19 April. Info and
booking form are now on the website at
http://www.cs.rhul.ac.uk/Outreach/News-and-Events/2009/minos09regform.doc
For anyone who has not attended before, the format is, as in previous years,
talks on Saturday, an evening meal at a local restaurant (each pays their own
way), an overnight stay in one of our halls of residence, and a competition on
Sunday morning. If you can't make the whole weekend, we can do bookings for
day visits on just the Saturday or the Sunday.
Adrian will also be glad to receive your offers to perform. For new attendees,
talks can be anything from a five minute show-and-tell up to a half hour
lecture on your favourite (micromouse-related) topic. The audience is very
friendly, and ranges from the neophyte to the expert.
Broad participation makes the weekend go well!
We look forward to hearing from you.
Best
Janet
