Possibly!  We still use the maze solver from our previous mouse that was quick on the striates but much slower on the corners. It’s basically a corner counting algorithm and does not take into account the distance. Also that type of diagonal zig zag is the hardest thing to navigate; it may not have made it to the centre at all.

Very nice Derek.  You are quite fancy with the video editing.

I wonder if you would get a better time if you took the zig-zag into the finish instead of the longer straighter path that has a couple of 180s near the end.

I've been lazy not put robot or designer's names. I figured you all would rather see them than wait for me for who knows how long to actually label everything.
 
Warning: Photos are big (2MB to 3MB) so you can see lots of details if you want. Videos are even larger 30MB or so.
