Hi Everyone,

The school competition rules debate has now started. There is a link to
the rules from the mmu website at

http://www.micromouse.mmu.ac.uk/

The rules are in draft form for discussion. The debate must finish by 24th
September so that mouse builders have a stable platform to work from.
Please email comments to the list so that everyone can see them.

Obvious areas for discussion include the size of a touch penalty and the
tolerances for building courses, but there are things about how many mice a
team can enter and the number of judges that could raise some points.

You should note that this is for the UK SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES competition
only, but I hope that similar arrangements can be put in place for the
proper competition at some future time.

Regards,

Duncan
