2004 Competition Venue map and directions

The following information is to help anyone travelling to Millennium
Point on foot, by coach, by train or by car. Millennium Point (which
houses the Think Tank, the TIC and the IMAX cinema) is 800 metres north
of Birmingham (Digbeth Coach Station).  On leaving the coach station;
cross the main road (Digbeth, a four lane dual carriageway). Walk up
Oxford Street, cross Coventry Street, turn left into Bordesley Street
and turn right into New Canal Street. Millennium Point is now 400
metres straight ahead. The main pedestrian entrance is in Curzon
Street.

The map http://www.tic.ac.uk/aboutus/directions/index.asp fails to show
the Coach Station however it is on the bottom edge between the words
Digbeth and A41, below (South) of Oxford Street and to the right (East)
of Mill Lane. The street that is cut off just showing "ET" is Rea
Street. The map is aimed at train travellers as it indicates the paths
from New Street, Moor Street and Snow Hill railway stations. To get
road maps of larger scale, distance by road, and estimated car journey
time use www.multimap.com using our postcode B4 7XG. The car park is
accessed from Jennens Road.
Bon Voyage.
