we're starting to plan for MINOS '03. Duncan is (rather wonderfully)
offering a couple of bursaries to help students attend. Our plan generally
is to try and make it cheap for students so that we can get some new blood
in. Of course, this might mean that costs rise slightly for the rest of
us, and that the subsidy from the department here goes up...
If I can be reasonably sure of getting a set of tutorial presentations
together then I'll mount an advertising drive. So, right now I'm looking
for offers of talks and expressions of interest from those intending to
attend. We don't have a firm date yet, but it will be in our Easter
vacation as usual. I'll try to avoid school terms.
