MINOS'02 booking form
Dear all,
enclosed is the booking form for this year's MINOS conference. For those
of you who are new, MINOS is a residential two day event that we hold in
the Easter vacation. We have talks on the Saturday, a big meal and a
social session on Saturday evening and a micromouse competition on the
Sunday.
The general arrangements this year follow last year's pattern except that
we are holding the event at our Kingswood Hall which occupies a wonderful
setting at the top of Cooper's Hill overlooking Runyemede and the Thames.
We will have a maze set up throughout the event in a room next to the main
meeting room. Meals and the bar are also adjacent, so I think the
atmosphere will be quite convivial. The only catch is that accomodation
will be on the main campus. I have arranged en-suite rooms in a modern
block well away from Founder's clock which kept so many of you awake last
year... We've had to put the price up a bit to allow for the better
quality rooms which I hope you can all cope with.
We've got a minibus to ferry people up from the main campus on Saturday
evening for the dinner, and take them back to their rooms afterwards so
that you can drink and not worry about the driving.
What I don't have right now is a list of SPEAKERS. Several people have
offered themselves but I need final conformation now. Please, if you can
fill a ten minute, thirty minute or hour long slot then do volunteer
because we're lookinga bit thin at the moment.
We _really_ look forward to seeing you all again this year along with
plenty of new faces. The deadline for responding is quite short, so please
book as soon as possible.
