Shirley (and Michael) Back on the Up
A number of people on the distribution list will be aware that my wife
Shirley was due to go into hospital last Thursday for a hysterectomy. This
is to let them know that Shirley had the operation successfully last Friday
and was discharged into my tender care on Tuesday. This seems surprisingly
quick to me but Shirley is recovering very well.
I know it is chance but it seems astonishing to me that the NHS can schedule
the operation to be just after the MMouse Weekend and sufficiently before the
MMouse Competition for Shirley to be mobile again! We would still rather not
wait a year though.
Those at the weekend will have noted that Michael Schumouser was very sick
during the demonstrations. This was largely due to a (failed) last minute
motor control routine transplant. Several days thought and half an hour
applying band-aid and stitching together old and new routines has returned
Michael to last years form and more. Look out Ken!
