Re: How to build a Micromouse
The IEE technical information pack was produced by Alan Dibley
(who wrote the text) and me (who compiled the list of references).
It was sold for 5 pounds. I think I still have the list of references on
disc. The "pack" was aimed at builders of maze solvers. There is
an article comparing the complexity and performance of 2D
micromouse kits in IEE Electronics Education magazine Autumn
2000 entitled "Rokeby's Racing Robot Rodents Revealed" hurriedly
written by, er, me. This was aimed at schools, beginners guide
level. I could put these on www.mcbsmith.com if the IEE will allow
it and I can make time. (Time is very limited as my department is
going to contract significantly or close so I'm busy looking for a job.
If anyone hears of anything please let me know.) The maze solver
"Maisie" is described on
http://homepages.uel.ac.uk/C.Kanesalingam/
None of these are ideal but they are all I know about. They all have
links to further information.
