Re: Schools competitions

As someone who knows nothing about Schools or the School competition I feel
entitled to ask some stupid questions:

If you put a white line down the middle of a 3D maze could a 2D mouse run it?

Why not allow remote control of mice (radio or by wire)? Even 5 year olds
could build a mouse using 2 Lego motors and 2 battery boxes. I am prepared
to bet that a good microprocessor would beat a good human every time - giving
people the incentive to make progress.

What does the Department of Education (or whatever it is now called) say
about the Schools Competition? There is a real cost/resources issue here
that needs to be addressed. If there are no resources then you need to get
publicity through a magazine (PCW featured MicroMouse occasionally in the
past).
